Muslim invasion in India can be divided in three phases. Firstly, they arrived in the coastal towns of south as traders. Gradually they became Indian. Secondly when Arabs arrived in Sindh as conquerors. They vanquished local ruler and forcefully converted Hindu people to Islam. Thirdly when Turks arrived in North India as conquerors and fought bloody battles with rajpur rulers. By 712 A.D., Arab had reached till Mekran, the ancient Gedrosia.
